A practical example
We received many emails claiming that we had been hacked. One of these emails “proved” this by sending a message from our own email address. We were supposedly going to be left alone if we paid a ransom
From that point on, we began investigating activities related to our email domain. We discovered that there were several attempts by other parties to send messages on our behalf. These attempts came from locations where we are not present, such as Russia, China, and Eastern Europe.
After working with White Arrow Technology we were able to secure our system.
